Commun Stitching Problem

When you receive your 3D tour, the post-production team will send you feedback, if necessary, about the weak points and problems discovered for your tour. This feedback will help you during your next photo shoot. The most common problem when shooting is stitching. Several causes can be responsible for this problem. Here are the most frequent ones.

Images not stitched:

Most cameras will stitch your images automatically or offer you two formats; stitched and not stitched. No matter the camera you are using, you need to use an equirectangular stitched image. If you don't, the tour will be rejected.

Images cropped

Most HDR systems will have an option "center and cropped," this option will align all the exposure and crop the images. When the images are cropped, there is a missing part that helps connect the two extremities to make a seamless 360 image. You need to go into your software and disable this option. 

Results: As seen below, the measurements and floorplan will not be 100% accurate, and the image quality for the 3D tour will not be achieved. 

Exposure/HDR Fusion Problem

Some systems are not equipped to make seamless stitching into an image. The results are as seen below in the image. You may want to try our HDR processor made for 360 images and use bracketing when you shoot your property. We would recommend more the 7. 

Result: The right image quality for the 3D tour will not be achieved. 

Lens Problem

When you see this kind of blend in your images, that means that the two lenses on your camera have been unbalanced. You should contact your camera provider and talk to the repair and support department. 

Result: the measure and floorplan will not be 100% accurate, and the image quality for the 3D tour will not be achieved.
